Situation

In my marketing class, I worked as part of a group project focused on promoting a technical digital product to a non-technical audience. The main challenge was making the product’s value easy to understand while coordinating responsibilities within a team.

Task

My role was to help shape the marketing message and create short form video content that clearly communicated the product’s benefits. I was responsible for identifying customer pain points, simplifying complex features, and ensuring our messaging stayed consistent with our overall marketing strategy.

Action

I collaborated closely with my group to align on target audience and key value propositions. I planned and produced marketing videos, including tutorials and product highlights, using clear structure, simple language, and visuals to demonstrate how the product solves real problems. I also incorporated feedback from my teammates to refine the messaging and improve clarity.

Results

Our final project successfully communicated the product’s value in a clear and engaging way. The experience strengthened my ability to work collaboratively, take ownership of a defined role, and apply marketing principles to create effective, audience-focused content.
